Gifts of Life Insurance

As you age, the need for life insurance most likely declines. A gift of life insurance is a popular asset to use as a charitable gift, as it has outlived its original intended purpose.

You can name the NCMC Foundation as the beneficiary of your life insurance by transferring actual ownership of a paid-up life insurance policy; donating an existing policy and continuing to pay the premiums; or purchasing a new policy with the NCMC Foundation as the owner and beneficiary and you continue to make the premium payments. These gifts will entitle you to an income tax deduction and future premium payments (directed through the NCMC Foundation) will be tax deductible.
