Giving Clubs and Societies
For more than 100 years, North Colorado Medical Center has served the diverse medical needs of residents of Greeley, Weld County and the region. Our challenge is to take this history of caring to the next level. To do that, it takes people who believe in NCMC and the NCMC Foundation and want to make a difference in the lives of those we serve.
The support and commitment of individuals, who believe in the mission of the Foundation and NCMC and are willing to make personal investments in it, make success a possibility. The NCMC Foundation has established societies that recognize individuals, corporations, and foundations who have demonstrated outstanding stewardship to the Foundation and Medical Center.
President’s Circle
Annual gifts of $1,500 or more in support of NCMC, NCMC Foundation or Foundation programs will entitle those donors to Membership in the NCMC Foundation’s President's Circle. The donor or donor’s company name will be added to the President’s Circle donor wall located in the Medical Center’s lobby.
Commemorative or Naming Opportunities
Commemorative gift opportunities provide a method for the Foundation to recognize gifts and perpetuate the memory of an individual, family, or a business.
Memorial Gifts
These are gifts given in memory of a friend or loved one. Memorial gifts may be restricted to a particular purpose in the Medical Center by the decedent's family or by the decedent themselves prior to death. The NCMC Foundation will thank those making memorial gifts through a special memorial card to the donor. A card or letter will also be sent to the decedent's family listing those who made memorial gifts. In addition, the decedent's name will be entered in the NCMC Foundation's Book of Memory displayed near the east entrance of the Medical Center. This recognition is given regardless of the number or amount of gifts received.
Honoring Gifts
These are gifts made to honor someone for an outstanding achievement or to recognize a meaningful milestone in their lives. Gifts might recognize birthdays, graduation, anniversaries and so on. The NCMC Foundation acknowledges honoring gifts through a card to the donor and a card to the individual being honored, indicating that a gift has been received in their honor.
Wall of Honor
Those who gave in the past to an area or piece of equipment that no longer exists are perpetually recognized on the Wall of Honor. The header plate on the Wall of Honor reads, “Over the years, during renovation and remodeling, plaques representing gifts from many supporters of The North Colorado Medical Center were displaced. To provide recognition for these gifts they are recognized here as a tribute to the generosity of those donors."
Founder’s Society
The NCMC Foundation established the Founder's Society to recognize its most generous donors, those who have contributed $25,000 or more in aggregate. These generous donors are listed on the donor wall in the Medical Center's lobby. The Founder's Society is comprised of five levels of giving: Founders, Benefactors, Patrons, Associates, and Friends.
Heritage Society
The Heritage Society recognizes those individuals who have made a deferred or planned gift to the North Colorado Medical Center or the NCMC Foundation. This would include gifts of insurance, establishing of trusts to benefit NCMC, annuities, or gifts in the donors will. The Foundation will recognize both revocable and irrevocable gifts on the plaque in the Medical Center's lobby, under the heading Heritage Society.
Monfort Children’s Clinic
Those donors who made gifts of $1,000 or more are recognized on the donor wall of the Monfort Children’s Clinic, which was started by the NCMC Foundation in 1995 to serve the thousands of local children who were without regular medical care.
Will Rothman Family Chaplaincy
Those donors who made gifts of $500 or more are recognized on the donor wall of the Idris Kendrick McArthur Chapel at NCMC. The Chapel is available 24 hours a day for patients, family members and hospital staff who seek solitude while at the Medical Center. The Chapel is also used on a regular basis for worship services.
Pioneer Society
The Pioneer Society recognizes donors who have supported the Medical Center or the Monfort Children’s Clinic by making multiple year gifts through a direct mail and telefunding campaign. Pioneer Society donors are listed in the NCMC Cancer Institute and in the Education Center at the Monfort Children’s Clinic.
